The year is almost over, and that calls for a party. Looking for a cosy place for a Christmas borrel, New Year’s borrel, Christmas lunch or Christmas dinner in The Hague? At Café-Restaurant Pan in Bezuidenhout you’re more than welcome: with your colleagues, your friends, your club or the whole family.
Why Café-Restaurant Pan for your Christmas or New Year’s borrel?
Café-Restaurant Pan is a café-restaurant in Bezuidenhout where you can come for coffee, lunch, borrel and dinner. In the darker months it’s extra cosy inside, and on our heated winter terrace you’ll stay lovely and warm outside too.
We have room for small and large groups, up to 400 people. Whether you want to have a drink with ten colleagues or invite the whole company: we’re happy to think along with you.
Our borrel packages
The basic borrel package (from 7 people) consists of 6 bites, such as bitterballen, spinach and cheese croquettes, tuna empanadas, green curry shrimp croquettes, olives and tostadas, for €7.80 per person.
Want to extend the package? You can add:
- Extra finger food (tostadas with mackerel or serrano ham, yakitori chicken skewers) for €7 extra per person
- Mini (veggie) burgers with fries to finish, for €10.20 extra per person

Rather have a Christmas lunch?
A Christmas lunch is a lovely way to round off the year together, without it getting late. For groups we have several lunch packages, from €15 to €25 per person, with soup to start, platters with a variety of sandwiches and, depending on the package, salads, frittata and homemade cakes for dessert.
Want to look back on the year together first, or make plans for the new one? Above the restaurant is Studio Pan, our separate room with its own entrance, suitable for meetings of up to 30 people. It can be combined with a lunch package.
Or a Christmas dinner with your group?
Want to go bigger? Then a Christmas or New Year’s dinner at Café-Restaurant Pan is a great idea. Choose, for example, our chef’s menu: a variety of dishes to share, ideal for a group at the table.
Prefer a more informal setting? Then a walking dinner is a good choice. You don’t have to sit in one spot all evening, but walk around, talk to everyone, while the dishes come to you. That way you combine the conviviality of a borrel with a proper dinner.
Our menu also includes dishes for vegetarians and guests with other dietary requirements. And for private dining and larger parties, you’ve come to the right place too.
Easy to reach
Café-Restaurant Pan is a 3-minute walk from The Hague Laan van NOI station, a 10-minute walk from The Hague Central and a 1-minute walk from the Beatrixkwartier tram stop. Coming by car? You can park in front of the door, and after 14:00 and at weekends it’s free.

Yes, you can. For lunch we have several packages. For dinner you can choose our chef’s menu at the table, or a walking dinner if you’d rather keep it informal. Coming with a group? Then we recommend booking in advance. Our packages can only be booked by reservation.
What is a walking dinner?
At a walking dinner you don’t sit at a fixed table, but stand and walk around while different dishes are served. Ideal if you want everyone to be able to talk to each other.
Can you take dietary requirements into account?
Of course. Our menu includes dishes for vegetarians and other dietary requirements. Let us know when you book and we’ll take it into account.
